Meet Some of Our New Wrinkles Family
- Donna Bell - 2nd Season
Life took a sad turn for Donna when she became a widow and single mother to a son after 24 years of marriage.
After she became involved with Sweet Adelines Chorus,  chorus director, Dede Nibler, introduce Donna to her
present husband. She now has 3 handsome sons and 5 beautiful grandchildren. God is good! Dede also
introduced her to New Wrinkles for the first time in 2010.
"Well I fell in love at first sight. The people in the group
are amazing. Not just because they are still able to strut their stuff but because they are truly wonderful people
who want to encourage others to do well. It's a close knit family, one I hope to be a part of for years to come."
- Patti & Jerry Burt - 2nd Season
Patti began studying piano, dance, voice and drama at the age of 4. She attended The Eastman School of Music
in NY,  The Music Academy of the West, UC Santa Barbara and USC Grad School where she studied piano and
theater performance and won an award for best leading actress in a drama. She has performed onstage in
comedies, dramas and musicals, as a pianist with chamber ensembles, keyboardist and singer with her own
6-member band, and has soloed in concert and with orchestras - including the L.A. Jr. Philaharmonic.  She has
received several music competition awards. She has also taught music and Special Ed in Georgia and
California schools.  In 1983 she met husband Jerry (who has been singing most of his life), and together they
pursued a full time theater career in acting, musical performance and technical theatre throughout Northern and
Central California.  Jerry was finally lured to Hollywood where, for almost 10 years, he and Patti worked in Film,
TV and Live Theatre. They continue to perform at private parties and special events in addition to "New Wrinkles".

- Brenda Holman - 1st Season
I’ve had a very full life as a wife to a wonderful man, a mom to 3, and a grandmother to 10. I’ve also been
fortunate to have loved every job I’ve had. However, I remember being in the sixth grade and taking two tap
dance lessons. I loved it! As a Navy brat I never lived in any one place for long and my parents didn’t encourage
me to continue with the lessons. Travel forward in time to now. I would never have believed I would be learning
to tap in my 60’s. It’s been a real stretch for me to get involved but, New Wrinkles has given me that opportunity
and I’m having a ball. My only regret is that I didn’t do this years ago!
(That's our regret too. Welcome aboard.)
Photo Coming
- Rose Johnston - 1st Season
Rose is a new cast member and a novice tap dancer.  She began taking tap lessons in September of 2010 with
David Bonetto and has picked it up quickly.  Rose attributes her ability to learn quickly to her 20 years of studying
karate, which earned her a 3rd degree blackbelt.  After retiring from 30 years of owning and operating a group
home for teenage girls, Rose is thrilled to pursue her newly discovered avocation for dance, and at 55, is
excited to finally be a performing member of New Wrinkles!
(We look forward to helping you continue to blossom.)
- Valerie Hartmann - 1st Season
Valerie found out about Wrinkles three years ago through Gloria Lee, a fellow Fresno Newcomers/Friendship
Club member of which Valerie is President.  Valerie enjoyed the show so much she just had to join.  As a kid
she took ballet for about 8 years and did high school plays for two years. About ten years ago, Valerie did a
small community theater play.  Valerie says she has sung in church choirs and with the radio on a regular basis.
"This is my first year in Wrinkles and I'm truly enjoying the experience and new friends."
(We're glad you've joined us also.)
